INTRODUCTION ABOUT MYSELF

Hello! Welcome to Aminath Milna Mohamed's blog. I am a student of Avid College currently enrolled in Diploma program of Early Childhood Education. As a student teacher I have certain teaching philosophies which include that every child is unique and they should have the right educational environment for them to grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. Moreover,  I believe that students should have safe environment and a desired atmosphere where they can achieve their potential at its fullest, as every student is different from one another. I believe that the teacher's role is to guide the student and provide  hands on experiences as often as possible. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.

This blog is based on an assignment given under the module 'development of manipulative skills' and it includes topics as the creative classroom, activities to develop different skills and the analyzing of different art works by students. I take this opportunity to thank our teacher for providing patforms o enhance our abilities.
